Silver, Medieval, Complete, Penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - AD 1272), Voided Long Cross reverse type, dating to the period AD 1256 - AD 1258. Class 5f (see 2), Moneyer: Robert. Mint: Canterbury. Diameter: 18.5 mm Thickness: 1.1 mm Weight: 1.4 g.

Obverse description: Crowned bearded bust facing holding sceptre on left. Trefoil in centre of crown, 3 pellets below. Almond shape eyes. Curls at side of head for hair, pellet beard (four pellets with one large one in centre). Pellet stops, ligated N and R. Lombardic h
Obverse inscription: hENRIC[ ] REX III
Reverse description: Voided Long Cross with pellet ends divides the legend. Three pellets in each quarter.
Reverse inscription: [ ]OB/ERT/ONC/A[ ]
