A Neolithic granite axe. Found on Hollowmoor Heath, near Barrow, c.1932. Placed on loan at the Grosvenor Museum. It is 7.5 inches long, weighs 26ozs & tapers to a pointed butt, slightly chipped on one side (1). Polished axe. Mottled black, brown, grey dolerite (2).
