Full Description

An incomplete cast lead alloy button dating to the Post-Medieval period, (AD 1500-1700). The object is domed at the front and flat at the back. A series of very worn linear incisions decorate the circumference of the outer face where the dome flattens. On the rear of the object is an oval loop which has been flattened. The object is in poor condition and has a dark cream patina.
