Monument record 7502 - Irregular Enclosure near Bowstone Gate Farm

An irregular shaped enclosure is visible on aerial images from 2010 (see 2).

An irregularly shaped enclosure defined by a low bank is visible. The southern extent is somewhat indistict, being disrupted by the trackway.

Parts of the enclosure boundary is visible as a cropmark.

The enclosure is not depicted on any of the mid to late nineteenth century maps, but the trackway is, suggesting that the enclosure predates this feature (see 5 & 6).
