Full Description

A blue glass bead probably dating from the Roman to the early medieval period, (45-1066 AD). The object is circular in plan and conical. It has a central circular perforation measuring 3.35mm in diameter. The glass is cloudy dark blue. The outer surface is covered with shallow circumferential grooves.
