Copper alloy clasp, possibly from a sword belt or hanger, of post medieval date (AD1500-1700). The clasp is made up of two sections; the toggle section consists of a disc plate with the rivet intact, with a rounded lobe protruding from the bottom end of the disc. The disc is topped with a collared neck connecting to a circular loop or eye. Suspended from the loop is a trefoil shaped plate with three equally sized perforated holes for attachments. The clasp has a green patina.
