Summary

Four metal finds found whilst metal detecting in fields to the north-west ad Bickley Hall. The finds comprise two lead alloy weights, a button and a harness pendent. They date from twelfth to seventeenth centuries.

A cast copper alloy harness pendant in the form of a fleur-de-lis and dating to the medieval period.

A cast lead alloy weight dating from c.AD 1100-1700. The object is circular in plan and conical.

A cast lead alloy weight, sub-circular in plan and conical with a long tapering handle weight. Dates from c. AD 1100-1700.

A cast copper alloy tombac button dating to the 17th century. The object is circular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. It has a raised central circular pimple. Similar buttons can be found in Bailey (see 5).
