Medieval coin: An incomplete struck or hammered silver Venetian soldino, probably of Doge Michael Steno (1400 to 1413 AD), but definitely minted between 1365 and 1423. Obv: Doge kneeling left holding banner. Obv inscription: Unclear. Rev: Winged and nimbate lion of St Mark facing within a circle, holding book of gospels. Rev inscription: [ ]ENE [ ]
