Full Description
<1> Portable Antiquities Scheme, Various, Portable Antiquities Data Import, WMID-76FEA2 (Digital Archive). SCH5212.
A complete milled silver sixpence of William III (AD 1694 to AD 1702), dating to the period AD 1694 to 1699. MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX reverse type depicting crowned cruciform shields. Mint uncertain but probably London. Sixpence has been heavily polished and bent into an 'S' shape for use as a love token (see 3).
