Full Description
Cuddington was noticed in Domesday as part of the estate of the baron of Malpas. It had land for 1 plough. After descending through the Suttons and the Breretons of Brereton the manor was alienated to Sir William Drake. A family of local name was seated here in the 14th century (1). Suggested as a deserted medieval village, but no evidence for this theory (2).
