A complete cast lead or lead alloy head or bust from a figurine, of Post Medieval dating (seventeenth to eighteenth centuries AD).

The figurine is irregular in plan and D shaped in cross section. The front is domed and consists of moulded decoration in the form of a face. The face has a pronounced upper lip or mouth, with a bulbous nose above. The eyebrows have been formed from a ridge across the face, and the eyes are indistinct. The hair is almost wig like, with two semi-circles on either side and a triangle on the forehead, suggesting a receding hairline. The neck looks like he is wearing a collar.

The reverse of the figurine is concave, with a hollowed area in the centre. The figurine is a mid-light grey colour, with an even surface patina. It measures 55.40mm in length, 35.38mm wide and 18.62mm thick. It weighs 180.5 grams.
