A Roman copper- alloy Polden Hill brooch fragment. The junction of the bow and the head are all that remains and a wing-cap survives on the right wing. It would therefore date 75-175 AD. The length is 24mm, width 14mm, thickness 10mm and the weight is 1.98g.
