Full Description

A cast copper alloy knife end-stop dating to the 16th century. The object is asymmetrical and has a sub-rectangular section. The top of the object is a rounded bifurcate. On the base of the object is a rectangular slot where the tang of the knife attached to the end-stop. A similar example is in (3).
