A silver shilling of Charles I, (AD1625-1649). Obverse: CAROLVS D G MAG BRIT FR ET HIB REX; crowned bust left XII behind. Reverse: CHRISTO AUSPICE REGNO; shield. Mint mark: triangle, AD1639-1640. Group F, North no. 2231 (see 3).
