Summary

The ditches defining the enclosure are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The enclosure is trapezoidal in shape and enclosures of this type typically date from the Iron Age.

Full Description

Identified a cropmark of an enclosure on Google Earth images.

<2> Google, 2005, Google Earth, 12/12/2013 (Web Site). SCH7272.

Aerial imagery dated 01/01/2006, and attributed, to Getmapping PLC shows cropmarks indicative of ditches forming a trapezoidal shaped enclosure.

The north-east corner of the enclosure is visible as a cropmark.
