Archaeological investigations at Boughton Road in 2013 identified the remains of a post medieval ditch predating the 19th century.
The evidence comprised a ditch cut feature on an east-west alignment with a series of fills dating to the late post medieval period. The ditch was sealed by the construction of terraced houses in the mid 19th century.
