Monument record 1746/2/1 - Boundary west of Harthill Park

Following on from the southern boundary to the park (see CHER 1746/2/0) clockwise, a clear bank and ditch continues beyond the boundary of the park. Initially aligned north-west to south-east, this turns to a north-north-east to south-south-west alignment. The bank and ditch become suddenly less distinct at SJ49695510, but are faintly traceable as the boundary turns towards the village.

In places the boundary survives as a slight earthwork.
