Full Description
Jacob's well, now dried up, is situated behind buildings next to the steps that lead from the Groves to St John's church. It was furnished with an inscribed covering in the nineteenth century, and this was moved in the 1930s to Grosvenor Park, where it still stands as a Grade II listed feature (1, 2).
