Summary

A short length of clearly older sandstone walling (about 5m long and 2m high), is seen forming part of the otherwise eighteenth to nineteenth century brick boundary wall between The Friars and Bank House plots. It is constructed of large and regular heavily-weathered sandstone blocks which suggest it is a remnant of a structure associated with the Carmelite Friary.

A short length of clearly older sandstone walling (about 5m long and 2m high), is seen forming part of the otherwise eighteenth to nineteenth century brick boundary wall between The Friars and Bank House plots (1).
