Summary
Evidence of post medieval to modern fishing has been identified at Edgar's Field. Primarily dating to the 19th to 20th century the evidence includes carving of boats on the coping stones along the river bank of the park. In addition, a number of metal pins, used for attaching fishing nets, have been noted.
