Summary
A water powered pump enclosed within a brick pump-house. The pump supplied water to Edge Hall and the adjacent farm. It was reported in 1986 as being in very poor repair.

A modern brick pump-house, which supplied house and farm, is in serious decay, but retains the spokes of the wheel.
