This is a 19th Century Chapel in Malpas. The chapel was built in 1825 and was demolished in 1860 (1).

The chapel is located on first edition Ordnance Survey Mapping of 1875 (2).

The OS Mapping states that the chapel's denomination was Primitive Methodist (2) however it has been suggested that the chapel was of a Methodist New Connexion denomination, subsequently converting to a Congregational (1).
