Summary

A chapel is recorded on upper Northgate Street at the start of the 20th century. It was opened as the Church of Christ in 1882 but was replaced in 1937. The church continued to meet until 1981 and it was demolished in 2004.

Full Description

A chapel is recorded on upper Northgate Street at the start of the 20th century. It was opened as the Church of Christ in 1882 but the present building dates to 1937 when it was rebuilt. The church continued to meet until 1981. (1)

It was demolished in the early 21st century as part of redevelopment in the Delamere Street area (3)
