Monument record 8588 - Roman pits and deposits at Duke Street

Archaeological investigations at 12 Duke Street in 1989 recorded several Roman pit features and a small quantity of pottery dating from the late first to the late third century. The investigations comprised an evaluation at Doran’s Warehouse, however, the site was never fully published (1, 2).
