Summary
Archaeological investigations at Cromwell Court in 2007 identified several possible features of a Roman date. A possible buried soil horizon was recorded in test pits 1 to 3 that contained several fragments of Roman pottery while test pit 4 a posthole or pit of a Roman date was also recorded at a depth of 1m below ground level.

Archaeological investigations at Cromwell Court in 2007 identified several possible features of a Roman date.
