The Cinema Deluxe opened in 1921 at No 95 Brook Street, owned by Pat Collins famed owner of a travelling fair. It held 1160 seats. It closed briefly in 1926, re-opening a month later as the Majestic following a change in ownership. It finally closed in 1956 and was later converted into a ballroom in 1957 and a bingo hall in 1965.
The front facade was in the mock Tudor style with an ornamental canopy of ironwork and glass over the entrance hall.
The main hall was demolished in the 1970s following the construction of the Inner Ring Road although the Tudor style frontage remains.
