Summary

Park Cinema on Coronation Street, Saltney, opened in 1923 and became Chester's first suburban cinema. It continued to operate until the late 1950s to early 1960s. The building survives today as an office and warehouse with a modern brick refronting.

Park Cinema, on Coronation Street, Saltney opened in 1923 and comprised a 489 seat hall. It continued to operate until 1959 when it closed for good. It was subsequently converted into a warehouse and has since been used as offices with a modern brick refronting.

During World War II it was also used as a Air Raid Precautions Post.

Park Cinema is described in the Victoria County History as being a 450 seat hall opening in 1923 and closing in 1963.
