Full Description
Huntington. In Domesday had land for 6 ploughs, with 2 villagers and 2 smallholders with 1 plough (1). The manor was the property of the secular canons of St Werburgh at Domesday and at the dissolution it was confirmed to the Benedictine monks of St Werburgh Abbey (2). Suggested as a possible deserted medieval village but no evidence for this theory (3).
