<1> AAA Archaeological Advisors, 2002, Land to the Rear of 6 King's Buildings, King Street, Chester: Archaeological Evaluation Report, R2451 (Client Report). SCH4435.
A single pit of post medieval date was recorded during archaeological investigations to the rear of King's Buildings, King Street in 2002. The investigations recorded a large pit [Context 114] measuring 6.1m wide and 1.6m deep containing quantities of late 18th to 19th century pottery, clay pipe fragments and pieces of a ceramic sewer pipe.
