Full Description

Human skull of uncertain date recovered from the Little Roodee. The skull was encountered in the river silts approximately 3.35m below the present water table.

No dating evidence was encountered, however it has been suggested that it may be of prehistoric origin, possibly a riverine ritual deposit.
