Building record 7132 - Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in Duddon

This is a Wesleyan Methodist Chapel which opened in 1890 in the village of Duddon. The chapel has subsequently closed and has now been demolished (1) (2).

Second and third edition mapping of 1898-1890 (3) and 1911 (4), show a Wesleyan Methodist Chapel at this location. However first edition mapping of 1874-1875 shows a smaller building on the site which has been recorded as a Methodist Chapel (5).
