Full Description
A series of almshouses, called Grosvenor Cottages, are recorded on early 20th century maps in Handbridge. The almshouses comprised a terrace of four houses on Hugh Street with a further two houses on Brown Street.
The terrace comprised four single storey houses of red brick with a grey slate roof opening onto a central yard. The two adjoining houses are also single storey red brick buildings also facing into the yard.
