Monument record 11254 - Hunter Street School, Hunter Street

The Consolidated School for girls was first set up in 1787, originally meeting at the Blue Coat School for boys on Upper Northgate Street before it was moved to new, purpose built premises on Hunter Street in 1854. (5)

The school was subsequently demolished as part of the Northgate redevelopment.
