Full Description
Netherleigh Manor is mentioned in Domesday and was located in Saltney. Although its exact location is not recorded it was believed to be on the site of the present Lache estate. Hemingway states the manor was a moated site. (2)
In 1735 the manor was sold to John Cotgreave whose son, Thomas, built a new Netherleigh House in 1780 on the Eaton Road (CHER 11234). (1)
