No 1-11 Derby Place including No 37 Hoole Road consists of a series of town houses, built in the 1840s-1850s of Flemish bond brown brick with pale headers and grey slate roofs. They comprise several semi detached town houses and a row of three town houses built in the 1840s and 1850s in the late Georgian style. (5)
