Summary

Full Description

Downswood House is a detached private dwelling built in around 1887-88 possibly by Samuel Hill Holme in the Vernacular Revival style. It is of red Ruabon brick dressed in stone and terracotta with a red tile roof. An inscription over the oak double doors reads "Fine que cui vide: in Domine confido: 1887:1888". (1)
