Please read our .

Summary

No 41-43 Hamilton Street consists of a pair of suburban houses built in the mid 19th century. They are of Flemish bond brown brick with stone dressings and hipped grey slate roof. The building is two storeys and double fronted. Each house has a projecting 2-storey central porch of yellow sandstone with a simple round-arched projecting door case. The original design for Hamilton Street by C Rampling of Liverpool in 1847 comprised a series of detached and semi-detached villas set in substantial plots, however, the street as built reflected an increase in density and for the most part of more simplistic design. This property, however, retained Rampling’s original style.
