The original design for Hamilton Street by C Rampling of Liverpool in 1847 comprised a series of detached and semi-detached villas set in substantial plots, however, the street as built reflected an increase in density and for the most part of more simplistic design. These properties, however, retained Rampling’s original style. (5)
