Summary

A large brick field is recorded to the north of the Manchester to Chester railway line on early 20th century maps. The Ordnance Survey second edition map (c1900) records a large brick field accessed by a lane over the railway with several small structures in the south west corner. The Ordnance Survey third edition map (c1910-1915) again records the extractive pits, however, the buildings appear to have largely disappeared.

A large brick field is recorded to the north of the Manchester to Chester railway line on early 20th century maps. The Ordnance Survey second edition map (c1900) records a large brick field accessed by a lane over the railway with several small structures in the south west corner. (1)

The Ordnance Survey third edition map (c1910-1915) again records the extractive pits, however, the buildings appear to have largely disappeared. (2)
