Full Description
A brickfield is recorded on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map to the north of the Cheyney Road near the Stone Bridge. The brickfield comprised a large area of extraction pits and several small structures, one in the southeast corner of the field close to the Shropshire Union Canal and two smaller structures towards the middle of the field. Early in the 20th century the area had been replaced by housing. (1, 2)
