Full Description
A large school for girls and infants was built on Westminster Street in the late 19th century. The school was recorded on the Ordnance Survey First Edition comprising a large building with adjoining playground. It was converted into a community centre in the late 20th century. (1)
Built in 1865, it continued to operate as a school until 1955 (3)
