Summary

A tannery is first recorded on the 1836 Tithe maps of Flookersbrook until the Ordnance Survey First Edition map from the 1880s to the north of the Flookers Brook. The tannery comprised a long narrow range with a series of tan pits to the west. It was demolished in the late 19th century to make way for housing.

A tannery is first recorded on the 1836 Tithe maps of Flookersbrook until the Ordnance Survey First Edition map from the 1880s to the north of the Flookers Brook. The tannery comprised a long narrow range with a series of tan pits to the west. It was demolished in the late 19th century to make way for housing.
