A watching brief carried out to the rear of 22 Castle Street in 2012 identified a small quantity of medieval and post medieval finds during the excavation of two trenches.
The finds were not described in detail but include at least one fragment of medieval pottery and some post medieval glass and tin glazed ware. (1)
