Summary
Archaeological investigations at Linenhall Street in 1964 recorded evidence of stone robbing of the Roman features.
The evidence consisted of robber trenches, of a possible medieval date, along the line of the fortress wall and some partial robbing of stone from the former rampart buildings during a watching brief in the Linenhall Street area.
