Full Description
The 1842 tithe map for Larkton township depicts a small farmstead comprising three small fields and one building. The accompanying award records this farmstead as belonging to George Horatio Cholmondley and occupied by George Brown (1).
The farmstead is still extant on the 1911 Ordnance Survey 25" to 1 mile map (2), but by 1940 the building has been demolished (3).
It's possible that, like CHER 7066, this farmstead predates the early nineteenth century Act of Enclosure for Larkton Township (4).
