Full Description
The Lower King’s Ferry Turnpike trust was enacted in 1826 following substantial land reclamation around the old port of Chester. The increase in available land allowed for the creation of a number of new roads including Sealand Road to Lower King’s Ferry (now Queensferry). The road was turnpiked in 1826, operating only until 1838 (1)
