Summary

The lodge is a cottage built in around 1850 at the entrance to the Curzon Park suburb. It is of painted brick with stone dressing and a grey slate hipped roof with lead flashings. The main body of the lodge is two storeys high with a one storey extension to the rear added in the late 20th century. Curzon Park was a mid 19th century suburb aimed at the upper middle class with large detached or semi detached properties often built in the Italianate style and set within large designed gardens.
