Full Description
No 26-40 Overleigh Road consists of two rows of estate cottages built in 1896-97 by John Douglas for the first Duke of Westminster. They are of stone dressed blue diapered Ruabon red brick with a brown clay tile roof. The first row of three cottages are two storeys high and one bay in width with a date-stone “18:W:96”. The rear is simply expressed, with walled yards and offices. The second row is of five cottages in a similar arrangement of two storeys high and one bay width and a date-stone “18;W;97”. (1)
