Summary
The Sexton’s Cottage on Handbridge Road was built in 1887 by John Douglas at the expense of the first Duke of Westminster. It is of stone-dressed blue-diapered Ruabon red brick with a red clay tile roof. The porch has a small leaded light to front, door of 5 tall narrow panels on blacksmith's hinges in ornate sandstone case dated 1887.

The Sexton’s Cottage on Handbridge Road was built in 1887 by John Douglas at the expense of the first Duke of Westminster.
