Heritage statement produced in 2015 for St Mary's Church, the Rectory and Church Hall. The rectory was built at the same time as the church with an attached parish room, which served for Sunday School and events. By the mid-twentieth century, this had become too small and a new church hall and car park was built on land to the north of the church. Later the rectory was sold, together with the former parish roomand is now a private house. The Rectory was designed by Grayson and Ould in the Queen Anne style. It is of generous proportions, and is built of red brick with pargetted gables and clay tiled roofs, and a shell hooded porch. The former parish hall projects on the east side.
